Mare and Foal Gallery Just as the ink plays across the page, these mares and foals convey a liveliness and exuberance that is reminiscent of traditional nature sumi-e. All works are hand-painted on fine watercolor or rice paper. Each is matted and hand-stamped by the artist. Because each is an original artwork, no two are exactly alike nor will any be entirely identical to those shown. However, each piece possesses the spirit of the ancient art of sumi-e and of its subjects. Matting colors may vary. Select pieces are also available as note cards (5" x 7", with envelope) -- see below.
Sets of Note Cards Sets of Note Cards are available for $25.00 per set of five. Sets may be all of one design, as noted above, or they may be an assortment of five different designs as noted below. All note cards are 5" x 7" and come with envelopes.
